[ARCHIVED] Yard Sign Recycling Drop Off

After the Fall 2024 election, Hennepin County, along with Minneapolis and Minnetonka/Hopkins, will be promoting options to reuse and recycle yard signs. Residents will first be encouraged to check with the campaign to see if they are collecting signs for reuse. However, if the yard sign can’t be reused, the county will be piloting four drop-off locations for yard signs from November 12-26, 2024. After the drop of period, the signs will be brought to Choice Plastics, where they will be turned into pellets and then recycled into new material. For mor information: yard-sign-recycling-drop-off-2024.pdf
